By the skin of their teeth!

The Tigard ballot measure requiring a public vote before Tigard can spend any time or money on planning for, amending maps for, regulating for, or building a high-capacity transit system appears to be passing.  The unofficial results, as published by the Washington County Election Division is below - about 200 votes separate the two sides.

However this election turns out in the official count, it would be nice to know why people voted the way they did.  In principal, Up Sucker Creek believes in and defends the public's right to vote on issues that can change their town significantly.
